NEWS: Deezy co-founder of Afrochella gets relieved of his duties.

The "Afrochella" music festival's organizers, Culture Management Group (CMG), have released a statement in response to allegations of sexual harassment made against Edward Asafu Adjaye one of the group's founders to resign from his position as leader and his duties with immediate effect. 

Deezy was accused of harassing several women on Twitter on August 10, 2022. In accordance with rumors, Deezy has made it a habit of sending unwelcome dick pictures to women on Snapchat and blocking them when they refuse his approaches.

Despite Deezy's lack of comment on the allegations, his company, the Culture Management Group, has released a statement to address the matter and made it clear that they do not tolerate any type of harassment, discrimination, or violence.

“Culture Management Group has zero tolerance for any form of harassment, discrimination, or violence. Our dedication to providing the most inclusive and safe event experiences for our guests, customers, partners, vendors, and employees alike requires us to take all forms of sexual harrasment and inappropriate behavior very seriously.We do not support misconduct toward women and assure you that we’re reviewing all materials related to these recent claims,” 

The company added that “as we conduct our internal review, Edward (Deezy) Asafu Adjaye will be stepping down from his leadership position and responsibilities at Afrochella effective immediately.”
