The 2022 Ghana DJ Awards are now accepting submissions. The scheme, now in its tenth year and organized by Merqury Republic, aims to reward and celebrate DJs for their contributions to the growth of the Ghana music industry while also promoting Ghanaian culture through music.
This year's festival is a partnership with the Joy Entertainment group of companies, with excitement and professionalism, directing all connected promotional campaigns, with the goal of making the 10th edition of the Ghana DJ Awards Festival a tremendous success. This will be accomplished through the use of Joy FM, Joy Prime, Hitz FM, Joy News, MyJoyOnline.com, and all social media channels.
The Ghana DJ Awards will be held this year from September 2021 to September 2022. Nominations can be submitted here.
The entry deadline is September 6. Following submission, the applications are reviewed for eligibility and category placement before a panel analyzes the nomination process and picks up to six finalists in each category. Following an audit by professionals, a portion of the final voting process is given to the scheme's voting academy and the general public, who will select the winners.
Note: The Ghana DJ Awards are looking for as much information as possible, including links, videos, and other references, and are urging people making nominations to provide a contact name and email or contact of the person being nominated.
Meanwhile, the awards are accepting submissions for the Greatest Playlist Contest, which is open to young Ghanaian DJs and offers the winner a performance spot at the awards' 2022 edition.
DJs who want to participate must make a video identifying five dance-ready tracks to get the celebration started. They must then share it on Twitter or Instagram by tagging @GhanaDJAwards and @JoyEntertainment and using the hashtag #GhanaDJAwardsGPC.
