Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie, is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur with a successful career. Sarkodie has been featured on a song with legendary reggae musician Bob Marley, which he describes as his proudest musical moment.
The late Jamaican singer's estate plans to release a new version of his single Stir It Up, which will feature rap verses from Sarkodie. On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, Bob Marley's official Twitter account announced the new song, stating that it would be released two days later.
The song excerpt shared in the tweets features Bob Marley primarily singing the chorus of the Stir It Up song whiles Sarkodie then adds a marvelous rap verse.
