NEWS: KODAK BLACK WANTS TO BE KNOWN AS A PHILANTHROPIST, NOT A GANGSTA

American rapper, Kodak Black has stated that he prefers to be remembered as a humanitarian rather than a gangster.

Yak made the remarks during his most recent Instagram Live session, in which he stated that all he desires is for his family to be proud of him.

"People care about being a gangsta, they care about n*ggas looking at them like they're a gangsta," Kodak explained. "I don’t give a fuck about that shit you heard me? I don’t live for that. I’m a philanthropist, a good n*gga, righteous, all that. I only worry about being a good son and making sure my mom is proud of me. Making sure my family proud of me.”

Over the years, Kodak Black has made numerous contributions to his Florida community, including donating $10,000 to Help Educate Youth in Florida, $1,000 to an Orthodox synagogue, over 1,000 frozen turkeys distributed to Florida communities, and many more while locked up.

Last September, Kodak paid the rent for 28 people in his hometown who were about to be evicted.

“28 Families Was Bout To Get Evicted For Being Behind On Their Rent A Few Months,” Kodak explained. “I Paid What They Owed And Also Paid Their Rents For The Next Few Months So They Good For The Remaining Of The Year.”

Broward County Commissioner Dale Holeness recognised Kodak Black for his charitable efforts and honored with his own day in 2021,

the Florida rapper took that honor seriously and celebrated it with his own hometown festival.
