NEWS: Drake Loses $565,000 Betting on Tyson Fury to Defeat Oleksandr Usyk.

Drake faced another significant financial setback this weekend, losing $565,000 on a sports bet after Tyson Fury's defeat against Oleksandr Usyk. The highly anticipated boxing match took place in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night, where Fury lost by split decision, dashing Drake's hopes for a $1 million payout.

This loss adds to Drake's string of unsuccessful bets in combat sports. Earlier this year, the rapper lost money when Francis Ngannou was knocked out by Anthony Joshua in March. Additionally, he lost $700,000 when Sean Strickland was defeated by Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297, $550,000 on Israel Adesanya losing to Strickland, and $890,000 betting on Logan Paul to knock out Dillon Danis.

Drake's unlucky streak in betting extends beyond boxing and UFC events. In December 2022, he lost $1 million betting on the World Cup final between Argentina and France. He also lost $275,000 when Colby Covington defeated Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272.

Despite these losses, Drake did enjoy a notable win earlier this year. He placed a $1.15 million wager on the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. The Chiefs triumphed 25 to 22 in overtime, with Patrick Mahomes securing his third MVP trophy, earning Drake a substantial payout. "I can't bet against the swifties @stake," Drake wrote underneath his Instagram post, which contained an image of the betting ticket.
