In an unexpected turn of events, reality TV star Tommie Lee, known for her role on "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," found herself in police custody early Monday morning following an altercation outside Miami's Club LIV. The incident, which took place around 2 a.m. (GMT-4), ended with Lee's arrest on battery charges.
According to eyewitness accounts and police reports, Lee approached a man outside the club and attempted to hand him an object. When he refused to take it, the situation escalated. Lee reportedly became belligerent, with witnesses stating that she threatened the man and eventually poked him in the face.
Security footage from the club corroborated the man's account of the incident, leading to Lee's arrest. The man, who had never met Lee before, restrained her until police arrived.
This incident adds to Lee's history of legal troubles. In 2018, she was arrested for child cruelty charges after allegedly assaulting her daughter at her middle school. She has also faced charges ranging from DUI to driving without a license in 2016 and 2017.
Lee, whose real name is Atasha Jefferson, was booked into jail following her arrest. The incident raises questions about the future of her television career and public image.
