Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand is set to expand with the introduction of Fenty Hair, a new line of haircare products designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair. The pop icon and entrepreneur revealed the exciting news on Tuesday morning (June 4) through a vibrant video set to Gravy’s 2023 track “Turn Up the Bass,” where she sported a blonde shaggy pixie cut with bangs.
“A new family is moving in! @fentyhair is pullin up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for,” read the caption accompanying the announcement on social media. The latest extension of her seven-year-old, highly successful cosmetics brand aims to cater to a diverse range of hair textures and styles.
“You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I’ve had almost every texture, color, length, from weaves to braids to natural – so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need!” Rihanna explained. “It’s time to play and get stronger by the style.”
The promotional video showcases Rihanna navigating through the streets of a whimsical “Mane Street” downtown, featuring a Fenty Hair store. The clip highlights various hairstyles, with Rihanna donning a trench coat and beaming at her potential customers.
The product line is scheduled to launch on June 13, with early access for fans who sign up by June 10. The promotional site invites customers to join the “house of style” on Mane Street.
In related news, Rihanna hinted at the progress of her highly anticipated ninth studio album, R9, during the launch of her new Fenty Beauty Soft’lit Foundation last month.
