The U.S. Embassy in Ghana has announced that OneBeat 15 is now accepting applications, offering a fantastic opportunity for Ghanaian musicians to join a month-long music exchange program in the United States. Scheduled for April/May 2025, this program will bring together 25 talented artists from 54 different countries and territories, encouraging collaboration and creative exploration across cultures.

What is OneBeat?

OneBeat is an international music exchange program created by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Since its launch in 2012, OneBeat has brought together musicians from all over the world to collaborate, create new music, and work on projects that use music to address social issues and bring people together.

But OneBeat is more than just a music program, it’s about using music as a tool for cultural exchange and social impact. Over the course of a month, participants will work together in workshops, perform in concerts, and take part in community projects. The goal is to create music that not only sounds good but also has the power to bring about positive change.
