Sean Combs, widely recognized as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, was once a powerful figure in the music industry. However, he has recently been charged by federal prosecutors with serious offenses, such as sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, and bribery. If convicted on all charges, he could potentially face a life sentence.
The charges claim that Combs orchestrated a large-scale criminal enterprise to fulfill his sexual desires. Prosecutors assert that he and others took part in "freak offs," where victims were sedated and compelled to engage in sexual activities with male sex workers, frequently accompanied by intimidation and violence to ensure their silence.
At least half a dozen new lawsuits were filed Monday, 14th October 2024 against musician and producer Sean Combs, accusing him of sexual assault against men, women, and a 16-year-old boy.
The lawsuits were filed anonymously by plaintiffs using the names John Doe and Jane Doe in federal court in the Southern District of New York. The allegations in the lawsuits include rape, sexual assault, and drugging of drinks. Some of the alleged assaults took place at Combs’ White Parties between 1998 and 2006. All six plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
The series of allegations include; an accusation of Sean assaulting a 16-year-old boy at an exclusive White Party in the Hamptons in 1998, an assault at his businesses and the retailer Macy’s inside the stockroom of the chain’s flagship department store in New York in 2008, a 19-year-old college student identified as Jane Doe, said she and a female friend were invited to a photo-shoot and an “exclusive” after-party at Combs’ hotel in 2004.
Another allegation from John Doe, states that in 2021, he attended a party at Combs’ residence in New York, where he was served and consumed a spiked alcoholic beverage, and later assaulted by Sean and two other men.
Sean has been set for trial on 5th May 2025.
In a statement, Combs’ legal team sharply denied the allegations and criticized the attorneys who filed the new cases.
