NEWS: Burna Boy Calls Out GT Bank Over “Fake” Concert Flyer.

Burna Boy has publicly distanced himself from a promotional flyer circulating online that lists him as a performer for a December concert allegedly connected to GT Bank.

The flyer, which includes several major African artists, quickly went viral but according to Burna Boy, his name and image were used without his knowledge.

In an Instagram Story posted on Monday evening, he wrote:

“GT Bank or whoever my management just sent me a flyer of you people putting me on a show I know nothing about. Y’all better pull that fake stuff down now. I’m even on tour on the 18th of December. Besides, y’all can’t afford me, it’s $1M for a show!!! #NSOW”

The flyer promotes a show scheduled for December 19 at the Accra Sports Stadium, a date that directly conflicts with Burna Boy’s ongoing No Sign Of Weakness (NSOW) World Tour, which ends in Toronto on December 17–18.

Burna Boy’s team has described the flyer as fake and “unauthorised,” and they are reportedly contacting GT Bank for clarification.

As of now, GT Bank has not released any official statement, and it remains unclear whether the bank is directly involved or if third-party promoters used its name without approval.

The issue comes at a time when fake event flyers have become increasingly common, especially as the December entertainment season approaches.

Burna Boy continues his tour, which has been met with strong attendance and global attention.

Further updates are expected as the situation develops.
