NEWS: I Hate When They Put Camera On Me To Ask For Money - Sarkodie

 According to the Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo who is  professionally known as Sarkodie says  he  is not as thrifty as some may believe during a  recent interview, with Mac G from south Africa. The rapper has receive criticisms throughout the years for what is thought to be a lack of generosity. He does not financially support his audience, unlike many of his musical contemporaries.

 In an interview with South Africa's largest podcast network, "Podcast and Chill," the rapper reaffirmed his catchphrase "money no be problem," and added that being open about the assistance he provides to people is not who he is.

He claimed, “I am not stingy, I don’t just like giving money on camera,” because, In his opinion, speaking to  the media after helping someone is disrespectful. 

He claimed that despite it being clear that those who publicly shower them with cash have evil motives, Africans have an unwavering love for them.

“I don’t want to call Ghanaians, but I believe Africans adore it when people come and throw money; those are the individuals they prefer even when they have evil intentions you like them and you end up in problems.”
