PROFILE: Kwame Dabie

Nana Kwame Nyarko Dabie, better known by his stage name Kwame Dabie, is a Tema-based Ghanaian recording artist originally from Brekum in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. He completed his secondary education at Mfantsipim, where he studied General Arts.

Dabie's life path led him to make music because he believes there is much about his life that the world needs to know. As a creative person, he incorporated his life narrative into his songs.

He began playing music at a young age during his junior high school days, and he believes it is the ideal route for him to pursue.

He is a free spirit who spends much of his time in the studio, either recording or creating tunes. Kwame has a special way of responding to his followers, and he considers them to be his family because without their support, he cannot advance in his business.

He has appeared on stages including as Kwesi Arthur's Live from Nkrumah Krom and BlackStartFilm Festival Concert 2019. Dabie spends his free time listening to music while he is not in the studio recording.
