After being forced to land his commercial aircraft during a severe storm, a pilot finds himself in a war zone.
Pilot Brodie Torrance saves passengers from a lightning strike by making a perilous landing on a war-torn island, only to discover that surviving the landing was only the beginning. When dangerous rebels kidnap the majority of the passengers, Torrance's only ally is Louis Gaspare, an accused murderer being transported by the FBI.
