NEWS: Don Jazzy instructs Nigerian artists to market their projects like Davido.

Michael Collins Ajereh, also known as Don Jazzy, has advised Nigerian musicians to follow Davido's lead in marketing their projects. Davido has been on a media tour in the United States in support of his newly released fourth studio album 'Timeless,' according to DAILY POST.

Don Jazzy encouraged other Nigerian talents to replicate the singer's music advertising techniques for his current album.

According to the Marvin boss, Davido did not sit back because he was already a well-known musician; instead, he relentlessly promoted his record.

Don Jazzy tweeted on Monday, "Dear artists, I hope you can see how Davido is marketing his album." He didn't say, "Oh, I'm OBO, so everyone will cop my shit." Marketing your great thing that you worked so hard on does not lessen your swag."

According to DAILY POST, Davido's 'Timeless' has broken streaming records since its release, including the highest charting album by an African artist on US Apple Music (peaked at Number 2), the first African album to reach Number 1 on US iTunes Albums Chart, and the most album first-day streams in Audiomack history.
