NEWS: Nhyiraba Kojo was confined to 30 days in jail for contempt of court.

Rashid Joseph, the owner of NK City Nightclub in Ghana, also known as Nhyiraba Kojo, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for contempt of court by a high court in Secondi.

The Secondi High Court judged him guilty of contempt and ordered him to serve the full 30-day sentence unless he can purify himself of the contempt.

The 30-day punishment was handed by Justice Sedina Agbemava after the singer failed to comply with an interlocutory injunction order to reduce noise pollution from his nightclub and install soundproofing.

According to sources, the case was brought by three Fijai homeowners who complained about the nightclub's noise.Despite the court order, Nhyiraba Kojo did not comply, which resulted in his sentencing.
