NEWS: Key Witness in Tupac Shakur's 1996 Drive-By Shooting Indicted on Murder Charge.

In a significant development, a crucial witness to the tragic 1996 drive-by shooting of rapper Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas has been charged with murder in connection to the case. The witness, Duane "Keffe D" Davis, was indicted by a Nevada grand jury on one count of murder with a deadly weapon, as announced by Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo in court on Friday.

Davis, a known figure in the investigation, confessed to being in the Cadillac involved in the gunfire during the September 1996 drive-by shooting in his 2019 memoir, "Compton Street Legend." DiGiacomo described Davis as the "on-ground, on-site commander" responsible for ordering the fatal attack on Shakur, who was tragically killed at the young age of 25.
