Obaapa Gladys, renowned for the song "Nipa ye Cobra," claims she is always ready to produce a unique remix of the song with Ghana's highly recognized rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo, often known as Sarkodie.
Speaking on Asempa FM's Showbiz Review, she stated that there is already a trending song featuring Sarkodie, but it is a fake, and that she has never seen Sarkodie in person, but if the opportunity to do so arises, she will take it.
"The trending cobra remix with Sarkodie is not genuine, I'm yet to even meet Sarkodie in person, but if I get the chance I will do an original remix with him," she went on to say.
The song "Nipa ye Cobra" was published in early 2023, but it remained unnoticed until late September, when it unexpectedly emerged on TikTok and became a trend.
