Ghanaian music sensation, Charles Nii  Armah Mensah, mostly recognized as Shatta Wale believes that divine intervention presented a golden opportunity for the country's music industry to truly shine on the global stage – but unfortunately, this chance slipped by unnoticed. In a recent interview with 3Music Network, Shatta Wale highlighted the significance of his collaboration with global superstar Beyoncé as a pivotal moment for Ghanaian music to make its mark internationally.

 

Expressing his concerns about the industry's focus on the wrong figures, Shatta Wale called for a shift in attention away from individuals like Sarkodie and toward talents that can propel Ghanaian music to new heights on a global scale. Emphasizing the need for genuine connections and authenticity in music, he remarked, "It's not about emulating Jay Z, but about staying true to yourself and tuning in to what the universe is telling you. This was our last chance, the shot God gave us."

 

With a fervent desire to see the Ghanaian music industry break into the international scene, Shatta Wale shared his aspirations for transformative change, stating, "We must strive to elevate our music industry and take it to the International level."
