Renowned Ghanaian musician and activist, A Plus, has raised concerns about President Akufo-Addo's purported disregard for the grievances of ordinary citizens. Speaking on the weekly entertainment show "United Showbiz" on April 27, 2024, hosted by MzGee on UTV, A Plus urged Ghanaians to be more proactive in demanding accountability from the government.
He emphasized the importance of active engagement, stating that with only a few months left in Akufo-Addo's tenure, the president seems indifferent to the plight of the people.
A Plus criticized what he described as Akufo-Addo's detachment from the realities faced by Ghanaians, particularly highlighting issues such as power outages. He questioned the president's leadership, accusing him of failing to fulfill promises made during his campaign.
A Plus also expressed disappointment in Akufo-Addo's alleged change in attitude, noting that he once enjoyed widespread support but is now perceived as disconnected from the concerns of the populace.
Despite his previous alliance with Akufo-Addo, A Plus has become a vocal critic, urging citizens to demand action and not rely solely on the president for solutions to their problems.
