NEWS: Shatta Wale No Longer Active on X (Formerly Twitter) Management Warns Fans of Fake Accounts

Shatta Wale's management team, Shatta Movement, issued a press release today clarifying the dancehall artist's absence from the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

The statement confirms that Shatta Wale is no longer active on X, and any accounts bearing his name are fake or parodies. Despite his previous announcement about leaving the platform, "misleading accounts continue to operate, falsely representing Shatta Wale."

The management team has reported these imposter accounts twice, yet some remain active. Shatta Movement urges fans and media outlets to "disregard any content coming from these imposter accounts" and stresses that official communication will only come through "verified channels."
