Accra’s art and cultural community is set to experience an extraordinary showcase as Oscar Korbla Mawuli Awuku, popularly known as Yonga Arts, presents his solo exhibition and book launch titled “ANANSINISIM – Body of Oracle.”

Curated by Eric Nana Yaw Agyare, the exhibition explores the human body as scripture, memory, and oracle — a living archive that connects ancestry, divinity, and identity. Through a striking combination of body art, painting, photography, and book-painting, Awuku presents his philosophy of Anansinisim in both visual and literary form.
About the Artist
Born in 1999, Oscar Korbla Mawuli Awuku is a Ghanaian body artist, painter, and sculptor. Through his artistic brand Yonga Arts, he has gained recognition for transforming the body into a canvas of cultural storytelling, merging tradition with contemporary thought.
