Nigerian highlife superstar Flavour is preparing to drop his brand-new album, Afroculture, on November 28, and fans across Africa are already excited. The project brings together different African sounds, big-name collaborations, and Flavour’s signature highlife style.
Flavour, born Chinedu Okoli in Enugu on November 23, 1983, has become one of Africa’s most respected musicians. He began as a young drummer in his church before rising to fame with hits like “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix).” Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for blending Igbo highlife with Afrobeat, R&B, and contemporary African rhythms. He is signed to 2nite Entertainment and is known for his powerful live performances and rich cultural storytelling.
A True Celebration of African Culture
Flavour’s upcoming album, Afroculture, is designed to celebrate African music and unity. The 13-track project features a mix of traditional and modern sounds, with guest appearances from some of Africa’s finest artists, including: Baaba Maal, Kizz Daniel, Pheelz, Odumeje, Qing Madi, Waga G, Azzy & Fire Daniel.
