Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Mike Akox has officially announced the release of his long-awaited debut studio album, RAGGA, slated to arrive on August 21. At the heart of the album's introduction is "Eno Mary," a deeply personal record dedicated to Mike Akox's late grandmother, with whom he shared a close and meaningful relationship.
According to the artist, the song is inspired by a bedtime hymn they often sang together. The prayer, which translates to "Holy Mother Mary, come and save us," has remained a source of comfort and strength throughout his life. By weaving those childhood memories into the record, Akox transforms a cherished family moment into a heartfelt tribute that sets the emotional tone for the album.
