NEWS: We are the progenitors of African drill music - Jay Bahd



Jackson Kwadwo Bawuah, better known as Jay Bahd is a Kumasi-based Ghanaian hip-hop and drill musician and a member of the asakaa music squad. 

'Asaaka'  is a Twi expression on a drill beat originated from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana 

He is well recognized for his contribution to the popular song ''Sore'' which features Yaw Tog, O'kenneth, City Boy and Reggie.

In an interview with Flicky Ent. the artiste claimed he and his ''Asaaka'' brothers are the pioneers of African drills music and drill music is here to stay.

''We didn't just inspire Ghana, we inspired the whole Africa right now Nigerians are doing drill music, right now Kenya everybody, Côte d'Ivoire they're all doing drill music''.... he said.

We started this sh**t in Africa, we are the pioneers and nobody can take this away from us bro no matter what they do and drill gonna blow till thy kingdom come asaaka!!!
