NEWS: Disappointment and Frustration as Shatta Wale Fails to Perform at KTU SRC 2023 Artist Night.

Koforidua, Ghana - On the evening of 30th July 2030, chaos erupted at Koforidua Technical University (KTU) during their SRC 2023 week Artist Night as students expressed their frustration over the African dancehall king, Shatta Wale's failure to perform as promised. The highly anticipated event, organized by UniLandFest, left students and attendees disheartened as the much-anticipated performance did not materialize.

Earlier in the day, Shatta Wale had built excitement among his fans on Twitter, urging them to get ready for an unforgettable night. Just a day prior, he had successfully performed at the "ALL BLACK ON BLACK LIVE CONCERT" in Akropong, also in the Eastern Region.

KTU, known for its outstanding reputation as a public tertiary institution and one of the fastest-growing Technical Universities in Ghana, had prepared meticulously for Shatta Wale's performance. The university community, as well as people who had traveled from far and near, were eagerly looking forward to a night of wonders and entertainment.

As the evening progressed, disappointment spread among the crowd when the MC announced that Shatta Wale would not be able to attend the program, leaving organizers and attendees alike in uncertainty as to the reason behind his absence. Adding to the frustration, heavy rain poured after the announcement, further dampening the spirits of the disappointed students.

UniLandFest, the organizers behind the event, are known for bringing together the best African creatives and networking opportunities in the realm of tertiary education and the youth market. They celebrate various genres of music, considering it a universal language that connects students in universities and tertiary institutions across the world, including Afrobeats, Hip Hop, RnB, Dancehall, Amapiano, electric music, and more.

As the campus community of KTU looks back on this night with a sense of disappointment, they hope for better days ahead with more engaging and memorable events to maintain a vibrant campus life and foster stronger connections among students.
