NEWS: Peller Apologizes to Jarvis After Money Laundering Claims Stir Online Chaos.

Just hours after accusing fellow TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, of money laundering, Nigerian content star Habeeb Hamzat (Peller) has issued a public apology and clarification in a new video that has reignited online debate.

The 20-year-old influencer’s apology follows an earlier outburst in which he claimed Jarvis received TikTok “gifts” from fans to “clean” illicit funds, splitting the proceeds with others. His comments caused widespread shock and speculation across social media, with some fans calling for an investigation by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In his new statement, however, Peller walked back his claims entirely.

“Jarvis and I aren’t involved in money laundering,” he said. “I talked out of emotion and anger. I would never tarnish Jarvis’ image. I didn’t even understand what money laundering meant — I just repeated what I saw in the comments.”

The two-minute video, now circulating widely on TikTok and X, shows Peller admitting he misunderstood the term and only meant that Jarvis sometimes regifts fan donations to other creators. He also apologized directly to her, saying, “Jarvis is not into money laundering, and neither am I.”
