Ghanaian musician Mike Akox is stepping into a new space beyond music, after presenting his new invention, the “Ragga Rover Coconut Box,” at an event hosted by the Australian High Commission.

The invitation came directly from the Australian High Commissioner, who had shown interest in the project and asked Akox to bring it to one of their networking programmes. After seeing it in action, she described the innovation as impressive and important, highlighting its potential impact.
The Ragga Rover Coconut Box is a portable setup designed to make processing and serving coconuts easier and more efficient. It’s a simple but creative idea that caught the attention of many people at the event, with attendees praising Akox for thinking outside the box and bringing something practical to the table.

Speaking about the experience, Akox said he was surprised but honored by the opportunity. According to him, the High Commissioner personally reached out to learn more about the project and later invited him to showcase it. He described the moment as a big step for his idea and a sign that people are starting to recognize its value.
With the attention the Ragga Rover is gaining, there are already calls for investors and partners to support and help grow the project. Many believe it has strong potential, not just in Ghana but beyond.
For now, Mike Akox is proving that he’s more than just an artist he’s also bringing fresh ideas that could make a real difference.
